MUNICIPAL PROJECT IS FINANCING MINISTRY OF INFRASTRUCTURE

In Ministry of Infrastructure of Government of Republic of Serbia, Minister Milutin Mrkonjic, handed decisions to represents of 60 municipalities and cities of Serbia of starting public procurement procedure, low value, to build infrastructure in the settlements. Ministry decided to accept project of City Municipality of Palilula in Nis, for realizing of works on construction of roadway and sidewalks in the street “Bubanjski heroji” access II. To the working meeting in the Government of Republic of Serbia, in the name of president of Municipality Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic attended Milos Stojkovic, member of Municipal Council.

“For first phase of realization of the project in 2010, for construction of roadway and sidewalk in the street Bubanjski heroji, second access, to the City Municipality of Palilula, from the budget of Republic of Serbia, is approved 2,9 million RSD – highlighted councilor Stojkovic. Beside second access, in this settlement will be constructed and four accesses – branches of the street “Bubanjski heroji” that is covered by the project. Total value of this investment of City Municipality of Palilula, that is was made by the project of Niskogradnje Nis, is 19.650.559,45 RSD. This is one more project in series of projects that are due to management and project team of this organization of local self-government of City of Nis, increased budget of Municipality for improving quality of life of citizens of Palilula.

Funds for this purposes, according to the Secretary of State Dr Rajko Peric, could have a significantly higher amount for the City of Nis if the Assembly of  City of Nis has made the necessary coordination with all city municipalities. In this way is approved only the project of Palilula Municipality. We expect that in year 2011 City of Nis use special funds of this Ministry and compete for the rehabilitation of the consequences of landslides in Mramor and Krusce.
